Offshore & onshore reliability data
OREDA@Cloud provides access to validated reliability and maintenance data covering both offshore and onshore energy installations.
The databank includes topside and subsea equipment across a wide range of operating environments, linking technical characteristics with failure events and maintenance activities.
Data is structured using consistent taxonomy and definitions, enabling comparable analysis across installations, regions, and equipment classes.
The purpose of OREDA
- Improve safety by providing experience and data on risks.
- Improve reliability and availability by use of reliability data to select most reliable equipment and configuration and reveal weak designs for future improvement.
- Improve maintenance effectiveness by using failure data to refine maintenance strategies.
- Enhance industry reputation by demonstrating a high degree of understanding of equipment performance and characteristics.
Non-member access
Non-members can access a defined subset of the OREDA databank through OREDA@Cloud via a Software-as-a-Service subscription.
Access includes selected topside and subsea datasets from recent OREDA project phases, delivered in the same structured format previously published in OREDA handbooks.
OREDA@Cloud is delivered via DNV’s Veracity Marketplace and is accessible through a standard web browser.
